REVIEW OF THIRTEEN YEAR OLD MONK BY HIMANSHU GOEL
Money doesn't buy happiness. Nor do any fame or materialistic things either.
The Thirteen Year Old Monk by Himanshu Goel was a perfect testament of this.
The blurb is as follows:
Ronnie Sharma is one of the most famous actors in Bollywood. Yet there's something missing in his life, a purpose, an anchor. His life is completely set to change when he meets a 13-year-old monk in the mountains. From him, he learns the way of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese way of living.
The book revolves around the Main Character, Ronnie Sharma, who seemed to have had it all, yet there was something missing from his life.
Even after having everything that many of us dream of, Ronnie, a Bollywood Actor failed to find the purpose in his life.
In order to find the same, Ronnie travels to the mountains, where a chance meeting with a 13 Year old seems to change his life forever.
At just 18 pages, some might consider that this book won't have any meaning. I felt otherwise.
On the contrary, I believed that this book taught us some valuable lessons which even series or novels won't be able to deliver.
I will for sure recommend it to everyone who are keen to find the purpose of their life.
I'm going to give this book Four Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐
