REVIEW OF THE BOOK SIGNPOSTS BY TAPAN GHOSH
Books have the power to change lives and the strength and mightiness that is found between its pages is formidable indeed, to say the least.
My Review:
Inspiration has varied and many forms, particularly when it comes to books. They can propel us to grow or they can provide us with steady guidance on how to and how not to do everything and anything.
Sometimes going through life can be a little bit of like we are riding a roller coaster. We experience many ups in form of good situations, however they are accompanied with just as many downs as well. The journey and our perspective through the high and low points is what makes our life worth living or not.
‘Signposts: Life Simplified in 100 Quotes’ by Tapan Ghosh is one such classic example of a book filled with inspiration, that acts as a voice of advise or reason to those who feel like they need encouragement or stimulation in their Downs and Low Points.
Or even if you are not stuck in a complicated situation and are on your Ups or High Points, this is still a great book for you to make you break free from the mundane cosiness and comfortable conviviality and force you to think and take some positive steps and actions for yourself, as it is evident that a few extra sources of inspiration never hurt anyone.
As the signposts at the side of the road gives us information and directions about routes and distances, this book will help us steer and give orientation to a good and quality life.
My Final Thoughts on Book:
All the hundred quotes in the book are a great indicator of the wisdom of author from having lived through certain complex situations, yet keeping a positive approach through out, resulting in coming out victorious in the end.
My Rating:
I liked every single one it, hence, I am going to give this book FIVE SIGNPOSTS STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
About the Author: Tapan Ghosh
Life is all about striking a balance. That’s what I do. Balance work with things that excite me. Not that work doesn’t.
An engineer by qualification, my passion for work has driven me to be an entrepreneur, a pioneer in my field and a patent holder as well.
But, as they say, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Very true, because I get bored easily. The adventure seeker in me learnt to fly a plane (I hold a flying licence). The creative side of me seeks expression in writing scripts, some of which have been made into short films.
One of these scripts lost its way and ended up being published as a novel. Friends tell me that there is a bit of me in it. Perhaps! Because, what is creativity but an expression of the creator? And expression comes when you feel the experience, not merely live it.
Expression must reach out. And that’s why I am here. To amuse, to entertain, to inspire or merely to strike a chord within you. Of course, I’d be happy if you tick all the boxes. We talked about balance, didn’t we?
