REVIEW OF YOU AND ME ARE IMPERFECTLY PERFECT BY TSHREE

To be absolutely frank, anyone who claims that marriage is easy or a cakewalk is either single or lying. Any marriage, be it Love or Arranged, takes a lot of work, compromise, commitment and the couples have to go through many learning curves as their relationship progresses.

The Blurb is as follows:

Itisha:

“He was just like the moon- Solitary & Cratered with imperfections, Wrapped in mysterious darkness but just like the moon he shined like a silver empress of the night. I was like the night bird who used to wait for the off-limit moon every night. Just like the moon he was the one in a millions but he was afar in the sea of stars.”

I so wanted to explore the darker side of that moon. I so wanted to know, would there be a moment when he would look at me and love me irrevocably?

The irony couldn’t be better explained....... “Dying to know, afraid to find out.”

Abhimanyu:

Like the sea, my heart had its storms, its own tides but in its depths, it had its pearls too but to reach that part nobody ever made an effort to dive deep until Itisha. I was still getting used to the feeling of being in love with Itisha, when she decided to walk away for ever.

We both were imperfect with our own set of flaws, but what we had between us was real, something which we both could feel but couldn’t express.

“The single most extraordinary thing that I ever did in my life was falling in love with her.”

My Review:

It is quite evident that working on your relationship doesn’t end the moment you say, “I do.” Even the best of marriages that are considered to be an ideal or picture perfect by others may sometimes face certain situations that are unpleasant and unsavory.

‘You And Me Are Imperfectly Perfect’ by T Shree is one such book which shows us how the couple from the story revolutionize the way they understand each other and take measures and steps to repair and strengthen their relationship.

Even if the situation and the circumstances under which Itisha and Abhimanyu decided to get married were not optimal, they eventually fell in love with each other, but as luck would have it, fate had some different plans for them.

Getting to know and spending time with each other lead them to realize just how difficult and strenuous maintaining their accord and connection is, and things are not so tranquil as how they assumed it would be.

What was supposed to be one of the happiest moment in any couple's life turns awry when some mean things are said that neither of them meant, but were too prideful to take back at that particular moment.

This book was such an enlightening read that showcased effectively how our couple learnt to fight productively, discovered their love language and realized the important lesson of how not only mutual respect between the partners, but also the ability to give each other space plays an integral part in any relationship.

The writing style of the author was gripping and there were so many instances wherein we could see her prowess and command on the language, which made the dialogue and story flow freely. Hence I am going to give this book FIVE PERFECT STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
