REVIEW OF MY SWAPNA BY TAPAN GHOSH
As they say, the memories of the childhood are the dreams that are bound to stay with an individual even after they wake up, thereby clearing just how bonded and connected we are to a certain specific place.
There is just something so serene and peaceful about the time that went by that makes most of us nostalgic even thinking about it.
The book, “My Swapna” by author Tapan Gosh deals with one such kind of feeling of nostalgia, which is somewhat a complicated idea, for not only does it consist of the emotional and mental aspects of connections and memories but is heavily entwined with a bond that is just simply too hard to let go or to forget.
Harry, our main protagonist of the story faces a plethora of mixed thoughts when he has to leave behind the city where he grew up in and move to a completely new place.
Times are changing and alongwith it, it is quite evident that the definition of Love and Relationships is also evolving.
Keeping this in mind, the author has done an excellent job of portraying what the real life and current challenges that this generation has to go through rather than writing about some old, redundant concepts of love.
Being a second part of a series, I was skeptical to pick this one up, as it has been mostly observed that the sequels do not stand a chance against the first books of the series.
However, it is safe to say that this book definitely surpasses its predecessor and was not only well written but also better than the first.
This has a plot line that is nothing like other, which itself makes it unique. I loved reading every single chapter, every single page, hence I am going to give this FIVE SWAPNA STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
