Review of ‘The Selfie Boy and Other Short Stories’ by Sriramgokul Chinnasamy
There is nothing more appealing or alluring, particularly the most when time is limited, than dipping into a short story collection and get the feels of reading, yet not get invested completely.
And just because of the mere fact that it is written in fewer or lesser words does not mean that its impact is any less potent or it is less memorable than a novel.
‘The Selfie Boy and Other Short Stories’ by author Sriramgokul Chinnasamy stays true to the above fact as even though it was albeit a quick read, the impression that it leaves on the readers is quite long lasting.
Consisting of a total of five distinct short reads, these stories do not pertain to any particular theme but are rather threaded together with the bond of human emotions that stand out from each and every single one of them.
Of course, the namesake, The Selfie Boy was quite entertaing chapter to read, however, if I had to choose my favorite, I would no doubt pick Replacable as the one that I liked the most.
This is absolutely a collection that has the ability to engross the readers right from the start until the ery end of the book, hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
