REVIEW OF A LONELY WORLD BY HIMANSHU GOEL
Being a person who has no compunction about being alone nor having any qualms of being in a group, I had no idea about the people who do have to face issues because of being felt that they are left out.
But then I came across this book and I not only enjoyed reading it, but it also made me dig deeper into myself.
A Lonely World and Other stories was a book that made me think and I really feel for those who do have to go through this feeling of loneliness.
A collection of short poems/stories/verses, the book revolves around a set of different phases that a lonely soul encompasses.
Monophobia is recognised as an actual fear of being alone, hence it wasn't like this book was based on a completely baseless idea.
Personally, I feel like this book couldn't have come out at a better time. The past few months have definitely ingrained in us this fear of being lonely and so, the books would definitely be a solace for those who went through it.
I have now read a couple of books by this author, yet there is never a monotonous or repetitive tone to his poetry.
Everytime I read his books, there always is an aura of novelty surrounding it.
Also, they are very clean and precisely written.
This book is recommended to all those who have a liking for poetry. I'm sure that they won't be disappointed by it at all. I will give this book Five Lonely stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
