REVIEW OF RHYTHM ROGER BY HIMANSHU RAI

Written in third person POV, Rhythm Roger by Himanshu Rai is touted to be the World's First Telecom Fantasy Book.

The blurb is as follows:

Heinrich Rudolf Hertz invented a unit of frequency and discovered electromagnetic waves, but virtually, he created a world of electromagnetic waves.

The Virtual world, which is always around humans but cannot be seen or felt, is the world of unknown powers, known as Electon.

"World is not only what we see." Rhythm has entered Electon, now it's your turn to take your path to know about the secrets of the Electon World.

My Review:

When people ask me why I like to read science fiction or why I am drawn to this genre, a variety of reasons come to my find. If we were to look at some of the best sci-fi books through the vast range that we already have, you'd see such a collection of titles, the different universes that are created, the special powers and all that hype that its barely believable, yet we read them because of the thrill, the suspense, the knowledge of new things.

What stood out from Rhythm Roger: The secrets of Electon for me was that even though some of the stuff mentioned in this book was totally unheard of, the author explained it with such a great detail that I almost believed it and wanted it to be true.

Due to an invention of Heinrich Rudolf Hertz, a totally different and new world is created named as Electon, which is not known to all the humans yet.

The story basically revolves around Rhythm and his adventures in this new Electon world.

Unbeknownst to him, Rhythm was living his life here in our World as a network design engineer when a sudden turn of events and a chance encounter not only lands him in a whole different world of new possibilities and realities, but he also finds out that he is the son of Queen of this AU and is to be the future King.

Like our world, this Electon world is also not free from corruption and has their own enemies.

Rhythm (Known as Roger in Electon world) does have to face some politics and has to fight his way to avoid destruction of his world through a nail-biting series of adventures.

The vivid imagination that the author possessed and showcased when it came to thinking and writing about Electon world was just stupendous.

I am really glad that I picked up this book as it was a pleasant distraction from the mundane things currently happening all around us.

Even if you are not from science background or don't know much about technology, you can give this book a try since the author has pretty much explained everything and you won't be kept wondering at all.

I am not at all ashamed to admit that even thought I am an adult, I still love picture books. So, even if this is not a picture book per se, it had quite a variety of images and sketches, like the ones we have in comics, and that made my reading even more interesting.

On a completely unrelated note, I loved the name Rhythm, which is also the name of author’s son.

As of now, there is no mention that there is a going to be another book or if this book was a part of a series, but I feel like that this book ended on a sort of cliffhanger, so I really would love to read another one very soon.
